Welcome to my blog!
I have never blogged before. In this day and age, that alone places me in the ancients category. I reside with those who are behind the times in all things high tech. Blogging, tweeting, streaming, Instagram, Pinterest (Did I even spell everything correctly?).

What’s a beyond middle age person to do? My comfort zone was left behind in the Leave it to Beaver era. As a child I was so sure I was thoroughly modern. I had a rotary dial phone right there in the apartment kitchen of my youth! A grand step up from sharing one in a hallway full of apartments. A sign of my modern upbringing. My portable phonograph could play a 33 LP, a 45 and even a 78. I’m sure most youngsters would not have a clue as to what those numbers refer to.
I could easily state my case of feeling like an ancient, by stating the obvious to all of you. That all the gizmos and gadgets that are commonplace now, were the stuff of futuristic dreams when I was a child.
No one could perceive of instantaneous gratification through something called the Internet. Certainly, no one could conceive of the possibility that our computerized age would alter the core of how we socialize and take care of the world.
Yet, because we as a world of people are now digitalized, I understand that I have to venture out in new ways in order to make connections with readers. Actually, with anyone interested in who I am as an author or what I’m all about as a person. Thinking on that further, it occurred to me that I can continue to be my old ancient self after all! I just need to share my pearls of wisdom, my notions about life and why we live it, in the context of modern times. That’s another way of saying, by sharing them on the computer. And if we’re being truly honest, by doing so on what is modern, at least for the time being.
So let the journey begin and together, we can travel to where it leads.
