The Secret Adventures of Molly Abramowitz

Molly’s marriage is boring and her career and religious beliefs no longer satisfy her need for excitement and fulfillment. She blames her self-absorbed husband Seth for the rift in their relationship and uses his constant travel as a reason to have a trial separation. During an especially long period of travel, Molly gives herself permission to experience romantic adventure. Drug addicted Bo-D, corporate lawyer Julian Delonge, and orthodox widower Avram Hirsch are her men of choice. With the help of Molly’s new friend, Ms. Mavis-Beulah Brown, Molly comes to realize that adventure is best found in her own marriage. And when Molly and Seth begin their marriage anew, Seth suggests a way for Molly to continue to experience romantic adventure in a unique and surprising way. It is at that point that the secret adventures of Molly Abramowitz truly begin.

Author’s Note: Although the characters and events are fictional, the story is meant to share a universal issue that many of us have in relationships. The desire for but often elusive self fulfillment we need to thrive, which is hard to attain without connection to another human being.
